Governor DeSantis issued Executive Order Number 20-121 on May 14, 2020, extending his previous Executive Order Number 20-94, due to expire May 17, 2020, to June 2, 2020. This means all evictions for nonpayment of rent cannot be filed until after June 2, 2020, as well as all 3 Day Notices for Nonpayment of Rent. Once June 2, 2020, passes, then evictions for nonpayment of rent for those properties that are mortgage free or do not have enterprise-backed mortgage can be filed, barring an additional extension by the Governor.
