Attorney Mike Chesser

Mike Chesser's family home is in Niceville, Florida where he and his wife have raised their four children. Mike received his law degree from the University of Florida Law School in 1971. A community activist, Mike is recognized for having written the ﬁrst Multi-family Housing Code for Okaloosa County and for chairing the committee securing the county's 911 telephone service. His draft of the open-end lending system for the Eglin Federal Credit Union, published by Warren, Gorham and Lamont, became the nationally recommended lending system for credit unions.

Mike has been Town Attorney for the Town of Shalimar since 1973 and General Counsel for the Eglin Federal Credit Union. Mike represents and sits as Director of Vanguard Bank and Trust Company. He has served as President of the Okaloosa-Walton County Bar Association, as Chairman of its Lawyer Grievance Committee and member of the Florida Bar Long-Range Planning Committee.
