Harry E. Barr
A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Harry Barr’s career began in the military, where he became a highly decorated captain in the United States Air Force. Following his tour in Vietnam as a Forward Air Controller, the legal profession beckoned him. “Trial law was the only thing that seemed interesting and challenging” he recalls. He returned to University of Alabama for his law degree.
Decades later, Harry recognized his passion for law led him to the right career choice. Harry served on the Florida Supreme Court committee "Florida Board of Bar Examiners" for six years and currently hold emeritus status. Active in the local community, Harry served as president of the Okaloosa Walton Bar Association. He was a two-term president of the Okaloosa Walton Legal Aid Society, which provides legal assistance for the financially disadvantaged. In his personal time, Harry and his wife enjoy restoring old homes. Harry is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law.
